Tyler, The Creator Speaks on Black Representation In Cartoons At SDCC

Tyler, The Creator just released his album Scum Fuck Flower Boy, but he still has much more planned for this year.

Tyler is currently working on two TV shows, one on Viceland – Nuts and Bolts – and another on Adult Swim. The Adult Swim show is a cartoon called The Jellies.

During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Tyler was asked why the main character of The Jellies (Cornell Jelly) is now black, as opposed to being white when the show first came out on the GOLF app. Check out his response below.
