Eminem Still Ranked As One Of Most-Listened To Artists Without Releasing Any New Music

Eminem hasn’t had a new album since 2013, but he is still one of the most listened to artist this year.

According to BuzzAngle Music’s latest industry report, consumers are listening to a lot of Slim Shady. Eminem ranks as the 12th most streamed artist of the year so far, with over 1.1 billion streams across audio and video platforms. He is also in the Top 15 in total consumptions, with over 750,000 sales across physical, digital, and streaming outlets.

For context, that is more streams than some of 2017’s biggest hitmakers – including DJ Khaled, Big Sean, The Chainsmokers, and Rihanna. All of this, too, is happening with material that is all at least four years old.
