It’s a big week for Gucci Mane.
Only a few days before he finally ties the knot with fiancée Keyshia Ka’oir and just a few weeks after releasing his autobiography, Gucci Mane has dropped his fifth album since being released from prison.
Mr. Davis was originally planned for a September 15 release but was pushed back so that Gucci could promote his book, release shortly after on September 19 – the day he got off of probation. The album was almost going to be released on October 19 – the same day Guwop plans to get married – but ultimately he decided against it.
“I planned on originally putting it out September the 15th; then, I started [thinking], October the 17th, but that’s the day I get married,” he said. “I love putting music out on 10/17. I feel like, it’d even make the whole wedding more powerful, because that’s like, my national holiday! … In my mind, it’s coming out 10/17, but I’m dropping it early, Friday the 13th.”
Mr. Davis features the previously released singles “I Get The Bag”, featuring Migos, “Curve”, featuring The Weeknd, “Tone It Down”, featuring Chris Brown, and “Make Love”. Check out the full 17-track album on Spotify and Apple Music below.
