Eminem Calls Out Donald Trump In BET Hip-Hop Awards Freestyle “The Storm”

Eminem performed a scathing four and a half minute freestyle during last night’s BET Hip-Hop Awards, criticizing President Trump and his supporters. “The Storm”, as the freestyle is being called, is the first new material from Eminem since his freestyle “Campaign Speech”, released last year, and his verse on Big Sean’s “No Favors” from earlier this year. Eminem calls out Trump in both songs.

“The Storm” finds Eminem comparing the president to the Fantastic 4’s The Thing and criticizing everything from the president’s lack of response towards recent tragedies towards recent events like the hurricane in Puerto Rico or the recent shooting in Las Vegas to his “extravagant trips back and forth with his fam to his golf resorts and his mansions.” The rapper raised his first in support of Colin Kaepernick, to which Kaepernick responded on Twitter “I appreciate you @Eminem.”
